I've had this problem before in Ubuntu when I tried using proprietary drivers instead of the default open source ones. I didn't have this problem before I upgraded from windows 7 sp1. Is this a known problem?

And more importantly can I fix it? It doesn't stop me using the PC but is rather annoying ^^. These steps seem to have done the trick: 1. Download the ' AMD Catalyst 15.8 Beta Driver for Windows 10, Windows 8.1 & Windows 7' driver. Uninstall the driver of the Display Adapter in Device Management. Do not reboot.
