I am running Windows 10 (64-bit) on a Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor and a Asus H170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard. However on the support CD for the motherboard, I have a driver that does not install.

I have sat through the installation process for the 'Management Engine Interface' (or Intel MEI, I believe) twice already, but every time I open the disc back up it is still listed as 'Not installed'. I do not know why this is happening. No errors are ever brought to my attention and Windows Update offers no substitute. However I believe the lack of this driver is causing a problem for my PCI Input Device and possibly causing my HDD to be unlisted in This PC. Can someone please help me resolve this issue? Also, are you Audio professional? Why do you have a Soundblaster card? If you really want to fix this, I'd say, do a clean reinstall of windows, and then only get the drivers you absolutely need, don't use any driver downloading/installing programs (they mess stuff up) So only get the Chipset Driver: The Realtek Audio Driver (your motherboard audio ports): The Intel Integrated graphics driver (you won't use it but.): The Lan Driver: everything else is superfluous and not needed for your computer to function properly. Restart the computer every time it asks you too (usually after each driver installs).
